From the beginning, Pressed Dress has been a family affair.  It started a few years ago when Audrey and I flew to Denver to help Hailey say "yes" to her perfect wedding dress. It was not an easy task. For many weeks after the trip, we continued to agonize over photos of her clamped into dozens of dresses and scratch our heads over the price tags.

 

It was worth it. The vision of Hailey in that dress during her wedding on top of a mountain is forever etched in our collective memories.

After the wedding, we could not imagine saying, "Goodbye" to the dress, forever tucked in a preservation box under a bed or hung in the guest bedroom closet. As an artist, I wanted to turn it into a masterpiece to be hung on a wall to be shared and enjoyed. That is how the story of Pressed Dress began.   -- Bonnie
